Biography
Thomas was born about 1821. Thomas was baptised on 18 February 1821 in Stanstead Abbots, Hertfordshire, England, the son of Thomas Hale[1] and Mary Taylor.
He married Mary Knight on March 28, 1842[2] Their marriage was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1842 in the Marylebone district.[3][4] Their children were:
- William Thomas Hale, born about 1842
- Edwin James Hale, born about 1844
- Mary Ann Ellen Hale, born about 1847.[5]
Thomas married Sarah Mulloy; their marriage was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1850 in the St Geo Southk district.[6][7] Their children were:
- Sarah Hale, born about 1851
- Elizabeth Hale, born about 1852
- Susannah Hale, born about 1854
- Thomas Hale, born about 1856
- Harry Hale, born about 1859
- Charlotte Hale, born about 1861.[5]
In 1861, their family were living in Ealing, Middlesex, England; Thomas was working as a general contractor and market gardener.[5]
Thomas's died (age 52) in 1873; his death was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1873 in the Brentford district.[8]
