Jennie Ellen was born about 1837. She was the daughter of Patric Haffey and Mary Corbey. She passed away about 1856.

The name Jennie comes down through family records cited below. Ellen appears on her daughter's marriage record. She arrived in America about 1853 with her mother and three siblings. She is married by about 1855, and appears indirectly on the 1855 State Census for Wisconsin, which identifies her as a white female living with Norceius King. She has a daughter, also named Jennie, born about 1856 then soon dies. End Catlin
