Peter Joseph Haden was born on February 19, 1936, in Washington, District of Columbia. His childhood was marked by extensive travels due to his parents' wanderlust, leading him to spend his early years in France, Montreal, and Switzerland.
For his education, Peter was sent away to various places. He first resided in Pau, staying with his aunt, before attending the renowned College de Guyenne in Bordeaux. Subsequently, he moved to Kansas City, Kansas, where he lived with his uncle and continued his schooling.
It was at the University of Chicago where Peter met his future wife, Suzette, and they tied the knot in Washington DC around 1955. Their union was blessed with three children.
Prior to joining the Air Force in 1962, Peter held an array of jobs, ranging from interior design to waiting tables. During his service, he worked as a radar technician, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability.
Tragically, Peter's life was cut short when he succumbed to craniopharyngioma, a tumor in the spinal cord, on July 16, 1964, in San Bernardino County, California. His legacy lives on through his family and the memories of those who knew him.
