Biography
Jane was baptised on 20 September 1840 at Henlow, Bedfordshire, the daughter of Benjamin and Jane Haddow. [1]
In 1841 she was living with her parents in Henlow - Benj Haddow 20; Jane Haddow 20; George Haddow 3; Benj Haddow 2; Jane Haddow 0. All born Bedfordshire. Rhoda Mabbot 15. Not b in Beds.[2]
Jane was living in Henlow, Bedfordshire, in 1851, with her widowed mother - Jane Haddow Head widow 33; George Haddow Son 13; Benjamin Haddow Son 12; Jane Haddow Daughter 10; Mary Haddow Daughter 8; Lucy Haddow daughter 7. All born Henlow.[3]
She married Henry Pateman on 7 February 1861 at Langford, Bedfordshire, fathers Thomas Pateman and Benjamin Haddow.[4]
