Evelyn (Guinn) Scarlett is a part of US Black heritage.

Evelyn Agnes Guinn was the daughter of Elvis Guinn.

Evelyn married Maxwell Curtis Scarlett.

She graduated from high school at age 15 and completed her bachelor’s degree at Prairie View A&M in four years. She went on to earn a master’s degree from North Texas State (now the University of North Texas) and taught in Fort Worth public schools for many years.

Evelyn Agnes Scarlett née Guinn passed away on the 6th December 2002, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, United States.
