Ross B. Guinn was born on March 1, 1872, in Logan County, Arkansas, to James A. Guinn and Mary Elizabeth (Dalton) Guinn. In 1880, he resided in Sugar Creek Township, Logan County, Arkansas.
On August 13, 1896, Ross married Minnie Ola Calhoun in Logan County, Arkansas. Throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Ross worked as a farmer to support his family. In 1900, the family lived in Sugar Creek Township, Logan County, Arkansas, and by 1910, they had relocated to Liberty, Haskell County, Oklahoma.
Sadly, Minnie passed away on September 14, 1919, in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. In 1920, Ross resided in Sadie, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, where he continued farming. By 1930 and 1940, he had moved to Red River Township, Miller County, Arkansas, where he remained engaged in farming.
In 1950, Ross made a significant move to Lindsay, Tulare County, California, where he transitioned into the fruit industry, still working as a farmer. He continued this work until his passing on December 3, 1963, in Visalia, Tulare County, California. Ross was laid to rest at Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery in Lindsay, Tulare County, California.
