Biography

Laurana "Laura Ann" Guinn was born July 27, 1862, in Georgia, a daughter of John Altman Guinn and Nancy Amanda Kimsey. Laurana is found on the United States Census of 1870, at the age of 8, living in Whitefield county, Georgia, in the home of her parents. ^[1]

In 1876, Laura Ann married David Leach Cox was born December 12, 1853, in Tennga, Murray county, Georgia, a son of Charnock Lee Cox and Ann Eliza Barnett. Children of Laura Ann and David include:
