Biography

Personal Recollections

Patty was a beautiful person inside and out. She lived in Manhattan her entire life. I remember her being very close with her mother, my Aunt Anita. Patty was married to Jay Adler. She developed Lupus after the birth of her daughter and was featured on the Phil Donahue show. Patty suffered terribly from Lupus and complications. The last time I saw her, in 1991, she was bloated from steroids and wore sunglasses to protect her eyes from the sun. Nevertheless, she remained her cheerful self. I will always remember her smiling and sweet. She was taken from us way too young and is missed by all.^[1]
