George married twice, firstly to "Agnes", the mother of his two children, a daughter Jane, and a son Nicholas ^[1]. Secondly George married "Ann Hicks", on 27 May 1684 at Lanivet ^[2].

George was buried at Luxulyan on the 11th of May 1692. ^[3]

George Grose 1608-1692 of Luxulyan was a son of Nicholas Grose c.1575 who had died in 1643. George had one hearth in 1664 Hearth Tax at Luxullyan. Wife Agnes 1623 died 22 Aug 1682 at Luxulyan. George married secondly Ann Hicks in 27 Nay 1684 at Lanivet. George was buried 11 May 1692. His will was made on 20th June 1687. He bequeathed 1/- to his only son Nicholas [1643-1694] and 1/- to his only daughter, Jane, who was married to John Wellington. He gave 10/- to his grandson, Richard, son of Nicholas, 10/- to his grandson, Walter, son of Nicholas, 10/- to his grandson, Nicholas, son of Nicholas and 10/- to Ann Grose his granddaughter, daughter of Nicholas. He also gave 1/- to his grandsons William Udy, John Udy and his granddaughter Ann Udy. All his other possessions he bequeathed to his wife Ann who was also his executrix. Will In the name of God Amen, the Nyne and Twentyeth day of June In the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand six hundred Eighty Seaven; I George Grose of the parish of Luxulyan in the County of Cornwall yeoman; being sound in Body and perfect in Remembrance, (thanks be given to god for the same) Doe make and Ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following, first I bequeath my soule into the hands of Almighty God who made me, hopeing that through the Meritts of Jesus Christ my Redeemer I shall receive full pardon and free Remission of all my sins; and my body unto Christian Buriall to be buried in such decent Manner as my Executrix hereafter Named shall seeme meete & Convenient. Item I give and bequeath unto the poore of the parish of Luxulyan the sume of ten shillings and to the poore of the pish of Lanivett the sum of five shillings to be disposed as my Executrix shall think most fitt. Item I give and bequeath unto my son Nicholas Grose one shilling. Item I give and bequeath unto Jane my daughter the wife of John Wellington one shilling. Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Richard the son of Nicholas Grose the sume of Ten shillings to be paid him within one yeare after my death. Item I give and bequeath unto Walter Grose my Grandson the son of the sd Nicholas the sume of Ten shillings to be paid him in one yeare after my death. Item I give unto Nicholas Grose my Grandson son of the sd Nicholas the sume of ten shillings to be paid him in one yeare after my decease. Item I give unto Ann Grose my Grandaughter the daughter of the sd Nicholas the sum of Ten shillings to be paid in one yeare after my death. Item I give unto William Udy my Grandson one shillinge.
