Biography
Jacob was born in 1826. He passed away in 1887.
Jacob was a son of Jacob Groh (1790-1845) and Nancy Groh, née Detweiler (1793-1842).
Jacob Groh's grave is unmarked; however, the following obituary indicates that he was buried in Wanner Mennonite Cemetery: On the 18th of June, near Preston Ont, of consumption of which he had been suffering several years, Jacob Groh, aged 60 years, 8 months and 29 days. Last winter his wife died and since that time he sank rapidly, but he bore his double affliction with Christian patience, desiring to go home and live with Christ. Buried on the 20th in Wanner's grave-yard. Serves by Jacob Woolner - Herald of Truth, July 1, 1887
