Biography

Lester Franklin "Frank" Griffin was born on January 8, 1849 in either Long Island or Cape Elizabeth, Maine to Moses Griffin and Nancy Cushing.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

He worked as a fisherman.[2][5][6]

Frank married Ada C. Bailey on January 2, 1873 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.[7] They had two sons: Frank D. and Horace Decatur Griffin.[6]

Frank passed away on February 6, 1898 in South Portland, Maine. He is buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in South Portland.[2]
