I am an adoptee. My actual birth name was Catherine Grice. I have adoption records that are authentic, and I was adopted as a child, not an infant, along with my younger half brother, Marvin Grice, who is 18 months younger than I. My mother’s name is confirmed by my adoption records. My father’s name is Jackie Williams, which is all that I know about him, and my mother was a single parent until her marriage to Charles Newton Fine when I was 3 years old. My adoption was not complete for a few years, and I was a foster child with my adoptive parents and went back and forth between my biological mother and my adoptive parents until I needed a single home for the purpose of beginning school. My half sibling was adopted by the same family. I know that I have more siblings/or half, and a father that I do not know. I don’t seek to interfere with my parents’ lives, but I would like to know my siblings. I tragically lost an adoptive sister who was the biological child of my adoptive parents, and I have a deep void in my life due to that loss. I would appreciate any help that could be offered.
