Biography
Jane was born about 1736 in Virginia. She is believed to have been the wife of John Smith who died in Knox County, Tennessee in 1795. However, no sources have yet been found to confirm.
The 13 children listed are also not confirmed with sources. However, the following children were named in the Last Will and Testament of John Smith-146118 dated 14 January 1795: daughter Nancy, Sally, and sons Joseph, John, Robert, David, William, Henry, Jesse and Betsy.
