Biography

Benjamin, son of John Greene and Mary Allen, was born 26 Sept 1721 in Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island. [1] [2] [3]

Research Notes

  • Birth in an unsourced merged profile, [January 28, 1731], differs.
  • No source for death date and place of March 24, 1805, Ohio. *An unsourced merged profile showed that Benjamin passed away in 1847. Given either birth 1731 or 1721, the 1847 death date is impossible.Watt-266 15:25, 7 June 2015 (EDT)
  • An Ohio death is probable because his son and daughter died in Licking Co., Ohio. Green-11245 23:03, 8 June 2015 (EDT) However, IF this is the Benjamin Green found by Robert Moody with Richard Beem in VA, he should be separated from the Rhode Island Greens.

  • The birth dates of spouse and children do not jibe.
  • Warning: Check the data: birth date (Greene-736 born 26 Sep 1721) should not be within eight months of a sibling's birth date (Greene-3395 born 1 Jan 1722) unless they are twins born within a day of each other.

I can find nothing further to help determine Benjamin's death date.

Greene-3306 and Greene-736 appear to represent the same person because: dobs differ. Let's just record that fact.
