Al Green is a grammy award winning R & B singer, songwriter, gospel singer, pastor and music producer, best know for his R & B hits in the 1970s, Love and Happiness, Tired of Being Alone, and Let's Stay Together.[1]
Albert Leornes Greene was born on 13 Apr 1946 in Forrest City, St. Francis, Arkansas, United States. He is the sixth of ten children born to Cora Lee and Robert G. Greene, Jr.
Green has been nominated for 21 Grammy Awards, winning 11, including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
