Henry Green was part of a Southern Pioneer Family.
Henry Green was born in 1775 in Old Tryon Co North Carolina, the son of William Green and Drucillia (McBrayer) Green. He was the brother of Abraham Green, Joseph Green, Abner Green, McBrayer Green, Charlotte Green, William Green, James L. Green and Unicey Green.
Henry married Nancy Elizabeth Reeves on 1789 in Old Tryon, North Carolina they had the following children:
According to an article written for the Boiling Springs Historical Awareness Committee by Virginia Green DePriest, Henry Green built the oldest home now standing in Boiling Springs, Cleveland (formerly Rutherford) County, NC in about 1797. The log home is currently owned by Forrest Hamrick and is on the east side of North Main Street.[2]
Henry died about 1834 in Boiling Springs, Cleveland County, North Carolina.
