Per your request, I placed an Wikitree Arborist note on the profile of Phillip Cross and changed the CLN of both his mother and grandmother to reflect married name. Let's see if any of the profile managers jump in and clean up the multitude of duplicate profiles for his siblings and children. Don't let me forget to come back to his profile at a later date and see what I can find as sources to begin proposing merges. I have had some good fortune in using this database to find records... have you tried it?
Cheers!
David
I noticed your new Club 100 badge.
Congratulations ?
Keep up the nice work.

Several good questions you asked... May I suggest you start by going to the Help Index, it drops down under the Help button at the top right of your profile page. There is a lot of information found there. Here is an overview. One of the drawbacks I've found with many Gedcoms is that other sites don't transfer sources from their sites so you end up adding those manually. I feel that profiles without sources are more like mythology instead of genealogy . <grin> As you find your family members that are not well sourced or open I suggest you request to be on the trusted list for the profile to improve it. If you have any other questions feel free to contact me via my profile page.
Cheers!
David
