Hello, my Paternal side is all Sandell’s. My cousin in Australia a Sandell has built a tree for our line. Berkshire, Oxfordshire. We are both interested in the Sweden and Denmark DNA and suspect the Sandell’s go back to Sweden due to the prevalence of the name today. I would add everyone here however, I find it extremely time consuming and hard going. Our tree is on ancestry.com. Is there any way to get a file from Ancestry and download it to my tree on Wiki tree? Otherwise I could just one person at a time. Slowly. The tree is public on ancestry.com

Gedcom seems insecure to me but I don’t fully understand it. I am not sure if my Father’s DNA could be added until he is deceased.

Hi Caley,

I would appear that you have a lot of living people "without proper privacy" on WikiTree due to the lack of dates on profiles. Can you please revisit these profiles? I added some estimated dates and then realized the large number of profiles.

Hello Caley!

WikiTree does not show us as being related but my comparison with your GEDmatch Kit Number shows that we share several chromosome segments which tells me that we are related somewhere between 3rd and 5th cousins, especially because we share 8.1 CentiMorgans on Chromosome 1. What do you think?

Please help me find our closest common ancestor.
