Thanks Stuart. Ever since I joined, I've not had time to look at anything. Any hints on finding a family name that so far has been elusive? My fil's family did not keep records due to a travelling lifestyle to do with work. Finding records when you have only half a name has not been easy. Any hints would be appreciated.
WikiTree's search method is under the menu heading "Find" near the top right of your profile. Open that, go down to "Search" and click on it.
There are over 38,000 surname Gray profiles in WikiTree. So, the more information you can enter in Search the better. Also, keep in mind that someone may have entered information on a family member using different spellings and different dates.
The good news is that when you find the profile of one family member it may be connected to others.
Thanks for upgrading to the Family Member level.
