Jennifer was born on 4 July 1943 at 7 Bowling Green Crescent, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom. She was the daughter of John (Huatahi Aretea Kerei) Gray and Marjorie Elizabeth Smith.
She immigrated from England, departing on 17 February 1944 from Liverpool, England. She arrived in the USA on 10 March 1944, disembarking in New York, New York, USA.
She married Neville Henry Chapman on 04 June 1960 at Murupara, Bay Of Plenty, New Zealand. They had one child together. Sadly, they divorced.
She passed away on 10 May 2006 at 2 Sequoia Crescent. Rotorua, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
