I’ve not heard back from you regarding the 1776 Project check-in so have gone ahead and removed you from the project for now.

If you’d like to rejoin at any stage you would be most welcome to do so by answering the G2G sign-up post here

Many thanks,

Betty -- 1776 Project Leader

Hi Charlotte,

It's time for a 1776 Project check-in! Please respond within the next two weeks to let me know if you want to continue as a member of the project. We'd like to know:

  • If you are on the right team or if you'd like to make a change. It's a requirement that every 1776 Project member is a part of one of the project's teams, so if you're not assigned to a team, let us know which team you'd like to join.
  • What you think the project is doing well, and what changes you'd like to see us make?

Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. If we don’t hear from you within two weeks, we will assume you are no longer interested in participating in the 1776 Project, and your badge will be removed. If you wish to reapply for membership later, we will be happy to have you back.

Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello,

I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.

If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

If we don't hear back from you we will assume that you no longer wish to participate in the project and if so, you could rejoin at any time as is convenient for you.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi Charlotte,

Concerning Bonnet-94... I added the category "Needs GEDCOM Cleanup" to the profile. That way it won't get overlooked. I have plenty of profiles that I adopted that I need to add this category to as well :).

If you have the time, you could swap out the links with the ones from FamilySearch.org and that would be ideal but the purpose of my note was just to inform the managers that the links don't currently work just in case it was not already known. I can remove the note if you like.

I have added the Category as a reminder since there are folks who (have the time to) go to profiles within the category and clean them up.

Hi Charlotte, I did a little editing to add some more sources to the profile of Joseph Ambroise Legendre. https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Legendre-76.

Someone contacted the Louisiana Project regarding his step-son Paul. Seems his dog tag was found and they are looking for a relative to send them to. If you are interested, I can forward the message we received to you.

Hi Charlotte,

As a member of DAR, I have updated some of your profiles as they cited DAR and SAR, yet had erroneous information. I have also posted on a couple of profiles where the data does not match. If you need help please ask.

There is a database error related to the Find a Grave Source. Not the spelling of her name

Hello! I DM'ed you about opening the profiles of my family's Knight ancestors. Please let me know if you have any questions about the request.

Thanks Charlotte. The link between my family and the Musette & Bette Ingram has not caught up with WikiTree relationship finder yet. I have hundreds of relatives in McNairy County. I am directly related to Sula Ingram I Ingraham through her marriage to Dixon Locke. In McNairy I have Dillon, Lull, Locke, Perry as main arteries.

I've contacted you privately a few times privately with specific profiles you need to edit the stars out of and they are still there. Please edit Ingram 1116 and 1198.. If you add me to the trusted list on them I would do it. They re sldo my relatives, so I am keen to get these profiles off my error report. Susan

Hi Charlotte,

Just a heads up, that our DB-Errors project and come across some "invalid" characters in the data on some of the profiles you manage. In particular, a "*" placed at the end of a person's name. We will be removing some of them, but, it would be helpful if you could look through your watchlist and make the corrections yourself. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Hi Charlotte,

As a reminder, here at Wikitree we share the profiles of our common ancestors. I understand there have been some requests to be added to profiles which you have ignored. Please make sure you go through your outstanding requests, Under MY WIKITREE menu above, REQUESTS.

If you need help, please let me know.

Hi Charlotte!

I've linked Michael Adam Millar (Millar-1089) and Martha E. (Leatherman) Millar (Leatherman-240) as the parents of Charles Decker Millar (Millar-672) based on just the name and birthdate matching in Eva Nourse's Millar history (see profile for link.)

I added the find-a-grave link based just on first/last birth/death date as well, btw.

Let me know if you'd rather not make that link yet...

thanks! horkan
