Hi!

This is Chris from the Italy Project. As part of the annual project check-in, can you fill in the project survey? This will let us know that you are still interested in the project and which teams you'd like to participate in.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hi Jo, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you've done to improve the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'm doing a check-in with all project members and wanted to verify that you're still interested in being a member of the project. Also, any suggestions for the Project would be welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Jo,

I noticed you have not been on WikiTree in a while, I hope you are just taking a break. I found a number of duplicates profiles that you manage, if you could approve those merges it would be appreciated. IF you have questions or concerns, please ask.

Ciao! This is just a general check-in for members of the Italy project. I am checking to see who is still interested in being a member of the project as we go through some much needed restructuring. I was also wondering what teams you would like to be on. We’ve created teams for each part of Italy. North, South, Islands etc. They will be explained further in an upcoming g2g post. Stay tuned. For now, please let me know if you are still interested in the project and if you’d like to be a member of a team.

Hi Jo,

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Southern Colonies Project. As we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member. I may have missed your reply.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the ancestors. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Hi Jo,

On behalf of the US Southern Colonies Project, I am doing a six-month check-in with members to see what aspects of the project interest them most.

1) We would like to learn the number of contributions you have made in the last two months (May and April) to Southern Colonies?

2) We would like to know if you have joined other Southern Colonies Subprojects, such as Southern Pioneers Project. Or have you worked on other subprojects?

3) Your activity in Southern Pioneers Project.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Mary ~ Volunteer Coordinator

Jo, We can give thanks for our Granddaddy David James. Our photos were in a box in the attic of Granky that contained the Page and Breece Civil War grandfather's and quite a few others. Do you have any others from your attic? LOL! Thanks for sharing that. barb

HI Again, if you have a family history you can identify down a path that this info came from, a good term to use is "family tradition suggests . . Would love to hear that story especially if there is a solid basis to it. I should have explained better. My apologies! Barb

Hi Jo, Say I was shocked at the Jance name you put on Joseph. I have removed it until you can supply a "primary" source. IF you have a story handed down, it can be put in the bio but not in the main name. Hope you are good with this, let's talk before any changes are made? Thanks for keeping up!

Hi Jo,

Go to the Civil War Flags Page, click add image and then upload your flags. Then add the flags to the page as you would any other photo. I’ll check in tomorrow to see if you need help.

Hi Jo,

Thanks for fixing the name on Katherine Galbreth Williams. I was curious about the two profiles that you removed the match for - they look like duplicates to me and I was wondering if you had some info that distinguishes the two. Best, Jillian

Hi Jo,

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention those profiles need.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up gedcom biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

Jo,

You have added it correctly. If it is not correct it will be red instead of green. Thanks!
