Biography

Mariano Governali is a Corleone native resident, the son of Vincenzo Governali and Giuseppa Randazzo, who married in 1916. He is named after his paternal grandfather.

Mariano marries Rosalia Pizzo from Prizzi, daughter of Giuseppe Pizzo and Rosalia Ferrara, on 16 December 1939.^[1]

Mariano's wife, mother, and grandmother all come from other towns.

Mariano is named among the victims of the Navarra-Leggio War in Corleone.^[2]
