Biography

Filippo Governali is a Corleone native resident, the son of Cristoforo Governali and Maria Cilebba, who married in 1755. He is named after his paternal grandfather.

Marriage

Filippo marries Gaetana di Palermo, daughter of the late Maestro Francesco di Palermo and Antonia Buccheri, on 24 October 1793. His father has died by this time.^[1]

Children

Filippo and Gaetana have at least four children: Giuseppe (c. 1806), Pietro (c. 1813) Cristoforo (c. 1816), and Maria (c. 1817).
