Biography

James Goring, son of Stephen Goring and Eliza Vaughan, ^[1][2] was born on 9 May 1863 in Redhill, Surrey. ^[1][3][4] He was baptised on 20 September 1863 at St John's church, Redhill, Surrey. ^[2] He married Maggie Kerr on 14 August 1889 in Hamilton, Wentworth, Ontario, Canada. ^[5] He died on 8 November 1929 in Wentworth, Ontario, Canada. ^[4]

Residence
On 2 April 1871 in Reigate, Surrey, with his mother Eliza Goring and his siblings Stephen Goring aged 20, Thomas Goring aged 10, Edgar Goring aged 4, Frank Goring aged 1 and Eliza Goring aged 14. ^[1]

In 1881 in Roma, Ontario North, Ontario, Canada, with his parents Stephen Goring and Eliza Goring and his siblings Angelina Goring aged 22, Thomas Goring aged 20, Edgar Goring aged 13 and Frank Goring aged 11. ^[6]
