Biography

David Goodrich, son of David and Ann (Robinson) Goodrich, was born in June 1772 at Hancock, Berkshire, Massachusetts. When he was eight years old his family joined the Shaker community in Hancock.^[1][2]

He probably left the Shaker community about 1790 when he was 18.^[1]

He married Phebe King, daughter of Simeon King and Sarah (Paine) King, about 1801.^[1]

David died in Nov. 1852.^[1]
