Abraham (Goodman) Mann was born on 1 Dec 1927 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States to Benjamin & Rebecca Goodman.

In the 1930 census Abraham (age 5) was the son of Benjamin Goodman at 827 Linden Ave, East Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States.[1]

In the 1940 census Abraham (age 15) was the single son of Benjamin Goodman in East Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.[2]

He married Myra Maislin, who had two children from a previous marriage.

Abby was most known for his social dramas. He is probably best known for his screenplay for "Judgment at Nuremberg" (1961), which was initially a television drama that aired in 1959.

While working for television, he created the series Kojak, starring Telly Savalas. Mann was executive producer, but was also credited as a writer on many episodes.

Abraham died on 25 Mar 2008 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California aged 80.[3]

In addition to his wife, the former Myra Maislin, Mr. Mann is survived by daughters Adrienne Isom, of Brooklyn. and Abigail Mann, of Manhattan; a son, Aaron Cohen, of Beverly Hills, Calif.; a sister, Esther Goodman Sack, of Tequesta; and a granddaughter.
