Sarah was born in 1820 to John Goode and Sarah Goode (nee Jukes). [1]
She married Edward Stacpoole in 1845 in West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England[2].
With two young children and expecting a third, they decided to emigrate from England to Australia in 1849. They sailed on the Ship Cromwell, departing from London 30th March and from Plymouth April 11th 1849. [3]
Soon after, Sarah gave birth to a son Adam Bance. Sadly she passed away 3 May 1849 on board the ship. Adam Bance died a month later. They were both buried at sea. [4]
