Charlotte married Ford Laney (born on 3 Mar 1908 in Green Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania; son of Elliott Laney and Clara Mae May Yarnal) on 16 Jan 1930.

Charlotte L. (Good) Laney, 100, of Penn Run, PA died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the Communities at Indian Haven in Indiana, PA. The daughter of Stephen E. and Sarah C. (Glenn) Good, she was born on August 10, 1911 at Alverda, PA. Mrs. Laney was a member of the Penn Run Church of the Brethren. She was also a former member of the Eastern Star and Amaranth. Mrs. Laney married her late husband, Ford Laney on January 16, 1930. Mrs. Laney is survived by her children: Evelyn Crawford of Orlando, FL; Violet McDannell of Georgetown, TN; Paul R. Laney and wife Fannie of Penn Run, PA and Wilmer Laney and wife Janet, who reside in Clymer, PA and Arizona; twelve grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and eighteen great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her three siblings: Doyle Good and wife Christina of Tucson, AZ; Alma (Good) Lute of Alverda, PA and Jennie (Good) Davis and husband Bernard of Alverda, PA. Mrs. Laney is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ford in 1986; son Lester Laney and daughter-in-law, Joyce Laney; three sons-in-law: John Soulchin; Vaughn McDannell and Louis Crawford; two grandsons: David and Robert Laney; four brothers: Stanley, Gilbert, Edwin and Ervin Good and three sisters: Savilla and Ruby Good and Ruth Frank. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA, where an 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 with Pastor Wilbur Hosler officiating. Interment will follow at the McDowell Cemetery in Green Twp., Indiana Co., PA.
