As soon as you accept this invitation, you can immediately edit/add to your profile. You can also add your relatives as member. When you create their profiles, just add their current emails.

Please set your own Profile Privacy Level at the "light yellow" setting - just be cautious with what you put into the Biography section as that will be public. This way, others can see your Family Tree on the Wiki which will help tremendously with the collaborative effort going on here. You'll be meeting cousins!!!

Other than that, you can start entering your family members and their data immediately.

From what I have seen so far, I think this is a better forum than ancestry.com for collaborative family research. I have 3 branches on my tree involving multiple family historians and we need a good forum for collaboration.
