Laura was born in 1876 in Leonardville, Kansas to Vendla Sophia and Charles Goethe. In 1880, she was living in Bala, Riley County, Kansas with her parents and two siblings.[1]
After the death of her husband, Alf, in 1940, she was living with Matilda Hult on Walnut Street in Boulder, Colorado and is listed on the census as her housekeeper.[2]
She passed away on February 27, 1973 and was buried on March 1 at 1:30 in the afternoon at Valmont Cemetery in Boulder, Colorado.[3]
