Basile Glavier married Marie Eleonore LePage, daughter of Leon LePage and Marie Ulalie Vige, in a civil ceremony on 5 February 1846. Their marriage was solemnized in the church on 22 June 1849 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in St. Gabriel, Iberville Parish, LA. Witnesses were Ursin Daigre, A. E. Neraux, and Isham Crane.1
Basile Glavier died before May 1851, when his wife is mentioned as his widow at her second marriage.3
