Magloire Sifroid Girard was born on 2 May 1849 and baptized at St-Georges Henryville. He is the son of Moise Girard and Melanie Fortin.[1]
Sigefroy Girard married on 14 Feb 1871 at St-Sebastien Iberville, to Josephine Ratte, daughter of Pierre Ratte and Julienne Paquin.[2]
