You added Ledgree (Carey) Smith as married to my grandfather. My name is Ledgee. I was not born in 1930, do not have the maiden name Carey, am not my mothers mother or ever married to my grandfather. I'm confused as to why you added another wife for my grandfather? I sent you a private message to remove it. Thank you, Ledgee
What the heck did you do at the profile of my 2xggranddad? What gave you the idea to make his profile picture also his background picture? You could see that I am active on WikiTree. So you could have guessed that I maybe had a reason to not put a background picture on his profile. Do you know there is a private messaging system here? You could have sent me a private message before you do a change on a profile that is managed of an active WikiTreer.
Jerry, what the heck is going on? You are making MAJOR changes to many profiles that involve disconnecting parents fro children.
Furthermore, you are doing this to profiles for which YOU ARE NOT THE MANAGER. But perhaps the most disturbing part is that YOU PROVIDED NO SOURCES OR EXPLANATIONS for your actions.
I saw that you removed Abraham Brown as father for Sarah Brown Smith and Nellie Brown, and that you left Catherine Bonaker Brown as their mother. My source for this family is the book "Abraham Brown: The Wagonmaker" and "Jacob Brown the Miller" by Fisher, Koller and Anderson. Do you have another source that says Abraham was not their father?
I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Be sure to also check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members!
Let me know, and I can help you figure out if there's a project that might interest you. Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you!
