AGE: 77 • Somerset
Mamie E. Chamberlain, 77, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at R.W.Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born in Edenton, N.C. before residing in Somerset since 1955.
She was a retired executive secretary at Rutgers University, Douglas Campus, New Brunswick. She was a member of the Somerset Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survived by husband, Amos Chamberlain; four daughters, Ellen, Vanessa, and Annette Chamberlain; Vanerette Cramer (John); three sisters, Jessie Edrington, Katherine Lattimer and Julia Calderon and a brother, George Gilliam, Jr. (Humiko); three grandchildren, Chaz, Auria and David and two great grandchildren, Azarel and Darius; a brother in law, Horace and William (Queen) Chamberlain, and a sister-in-law, Bernice and predeceased by her husband, Ernest.
Visitation will be held from 11 to 12:30 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Service, New Brunswick.
Memorial service is Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 1 p.m at Somerset Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 86 Highland Ave., Somerset.
