Biography

She was the daughter of Unknown Gilliam. She passed away before 1987.

Myrtle was born on November 22, 1884 in Henderson County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of James Harvey Gilliam and Amanda Jane (Priddy) Gilliam. Myrtle married Robert Haynes Latham (1881-1962) on November 26, 1904 in Henderson County, Tennessee. They had 3 children together;

1. Robert Neal Latham (1906-1987)
2. Dennis Hall Latham Sr. (1908-2005)
3. Eva Magdalene (Latham) Robertson (1914-2007)

Myrtle had made her home with her children following Robert's death.

Robert died in 1962 and Myrtle died on March 17, 1968 at the home of her son Dennis in Beech Bluff, Madison County, Tennessee at the age of 83 years. She was buried at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery located in Mifflin, Chester County, Tennessee.
