Note: E-mail from Patrick Harris: Andreas Jr. (called Senior) born 1817 was the only one of his brothers and sisters to remain at Bethel--this until 1876. He was given the authority by Keil to manage the Bethel Colony affairs and tended to be quite a significant and trusted ally to Keil. Keil's house at Bethel was called Elim and there were a couple of other houses out there also, about 4 or five miles from the Bethel townsite. Hebron is the burial ground near Bethel, a mile or so out of town and with a few houses nearby also. Andrew and Katherine had seven children. We can scan a booklet prepared by his grandson in 1974 which lays out more of these family details. Andrew and family finally came to Aurora in 1876.
