Biography
James Gibbs was a Kentuckian.
James F. Gibbs, age 96, of Black Diamond Road, Corbin, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1993, at Baptist Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
He was a member of the Sandstone Baptist Church, a member of Hugh Harris Lodge No. 938 F&AM since 1920, and a retired coal miner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Paris Martin Gibbs, a son, Arliss Gibbs, a daughter, Mae Gibbs Green, and a son in law, Curtis Ramey.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Satuday at Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Luther B. Martin officiating. Burial wil be in Corinth Cemetery.
