Children: Geertje (1749), Trijntje (Sept 19 1756), Trijntje (June 14 1761).

These are the most likely parents for Jan. While there were were other Jans born to a Gerrit at the right time, this is the only one not accounted for.

Gerrit and his wife Meino Gerrits are listed just above their daughter Geertje and her husband Klaas Singer in the 1761 Buurtjeskerk membership list. They were probably living on the same property. Geertje was their only surviving child.

Gerrit is listed in several notary documents, usually in regards to his wife's family or as guardian of Nanne Jacobsz Pool.
