Biography

Jan Gerritsz of Sijbekarspel married 1 Marij Bruyns of Spanbroek on June 15 1619 in Sijbekarspel. Children: Gerrit (Sept 6 1620, witness Guert Gerrits), Cornelis (Aug 21 1622, witness Guert Gerrits), Lijst (Sept 28 1624, witness sister of Marij Bruins).

Jan Gerritsz, widower from Sijbekarspel, married Aeff Jans, widow from Hoorn, on April 21 1630 in Sijbekarspel.

Jan had a sister named Guert who acted as baptism witness for his two sons. It helped us identify Jan's parents.
