who married Helena Bogardus. The Lawson family seems to be closely associated so your proposal seems very probable. I get off on these tangents researching the Phillips family which is my main concern at the moment. Thank you for the hint. Cari Yocom
I match your GEDmatch kit on a 15.1 cM segment and your mother's kit on a 37.3 cM segment. I think the connection is through John Baptiste Moran / Salina Reandeau for you and through George Lardie (Lardie-8) / Esther Beauchamp (Beauchamp-2122) for me. I haven't had any luck nailing down a specific common ancestor, though.
I also figured I'd invite you to join 'The Depew Family' facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/289645541197719/ that I (and a few others on here) manage.
I've been working since early 2014 to try to link the Depew/DePew name to anyone earlier than about 1700, and also to see who all the cousins/sons/daughters are (there were a couple early generations of 11 kids each, but I am only of -one- of those links).
I hope this comment finds you well, and look forward to hopefully hearing back from you soon!
Maggie
It is also possible (slight) that both Abigail's married a Bullock. Either way the Abigail born in 1749, could not be the granddaughter. I will look at the will and do some more research. Thanks.
