Biography

Pietra Geraci is the daughter of Leoluca Geraci and Lucia Ficarrotta.

She marries Giovanni Mondello, the widower of Onofria Ciavarello and the son of the late Gaetano Mondello and Francesca Mule', on 11 July 1830 in Corleone. Her father has passed and her mother is still living.^[1]

The following year, on 3 July 1831, they marry again -- the first marriage had been nullified due to third to fourth degree consanguinity and third degree affinity, which was not noted on their first marriage record, and they had since obtained dispensations.^[2]
