Martin was born about 1950. He was the son of Bernard Gendron and Margaret LaBarge. He died in 2000.
COHOES -- Martin J. Gendron, 50, died suddenly, October 15, 2000 at his home. Born and educated in Cohoes, he was the son of Bernard Gendron and the late Margaret LaBarge Gendron. Mr. Gendron worked for many years as a machinist for General Electric and was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church. Survivors include his two daughters, Joyce Meltzer of Watervliet and Sharon Gendron of Cohoes; a brother, James Gendron of Latham; a sister, Gail Lantz of Saratoga Springs; and grandchildren, Daniel and Stephany Meltzer and Brianna Smith. He is also survived by a niece and a nephew. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church.
