He immigrated to the United States from Bavaria, arriving on 12 March 1886. He passed away in 1940.
Research Notes
Most likely a relative of the Gemperlein family in Pottenstein, Bavaria. Another branch of the family was founded in the United States (specifically Ohio) by Johann (Gemperlein) Gemperline (abt.1811-aft.1880) in the early 1850s. Due to the rarity of the surname, it is reasonable to assume these two branches are related, but the precise relation is unknown.
His death certificate indicates that he was born on 2 November 1862 and that his father was George Gemperlein (most likely the German variant of Georg).
