Research notes

Both his parents are named on the marriage certificate which has been sighted by this author and he lists his birthplace as Tirol in Prussia.

The thing is: Tirol never was part of Prussia, only Austria. He either was from Zillerthal-Erdmannsdorf in Silesia, which was part of Prussia. Of he was from one of the parishes in Zillertal, Tirol. The church books are online at https://matriken.tirol.gv.at/
