Biography

William Gay Jr was born on March 6, 1805, son of William Gay (1778–1840) and Sarah Bonesteel (1785–1867).

His siblings were:

William died on June 20, 1856 in Kansas Territory, aged 51.

In 1850, William (45) was living in Amboy Township, Hillsdale with his brother, John Kent (34); and Mary Gay (40), Mary Gay (17), and Perry Philims (14). [1] [2]
