Mabel Winifred Gardner was born on the 7th September 1918, in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia, the eldest child of William Richard Gardner and his wife Nellie Marie Shipton.[1]
She married Charles John "Charlie" Vollbon on the 8th April 1939, in Bundaberg.[2] Their son, John William, born in late 1940, died in June 1941, aged just 8-months, and their son, Warren, was born in 1942.
Mabel Winifred Vollbon née Gardner passed away on the 16th January 1996, in Queensland, Australia, and was buried in the Bundaberg General Cemetery, where her parents and other family members were also laid to rest.[3]
