Amy (Galusha) Taylor is the descendant of a Huguenot emigrant.

Amy Galusha was born about 1828 in Fort Edward, Washington County, New York to Thomas Galusha and Ruth Galusha.[1]

In 1830 she was living with her parents and siblings in Fort Edward, Washington County, New York:

Mother, Ruth (30-39)

Brother, Charles (15-19)(b.1812)

In 1850 she was living with her parents and siblings in Woodstock, Lenawee County, Michigan:

In 1860 she was living with her husband, Elisha Taylor (36), and their son, Thomas R. (8), in Somerset, Hillsdale County, Michigan.[3]

She died on 4 March 1872 in Cambria, Hillsdale County, Michigan, and was buried in Cambria Cemetery.[4][5]
