Anna Gally's parentage and birthplace remain unidentified. Little was known about her early life until her marriage to David Goodell in Pomfret, Connecticut, on May 12, 1747.[1] She was considered remarkable for her exceptional dedication to raising her children. They had nine children, as follows:

Anna Goodell, wife of David Goodell, died in Pomfret on December 26, 1775.[2]
She was buried in South Cemetery, which is located in Pomfret, Windham County, Connecticut.[3]
