Biography
Emily was born in Harford County, Maryland in June 1878.
- 1880 US Federal Census for Halls Cross Roads (Aberdeen), Maryland shows Emily B. Gallup (age 2) with her parents Daniel Gallup and his wife Annie E. along with 5 older brothers and sisters [1]
- On 15 Nov 1905, Robert L Morgan and Emily Bay Gallup were married at St. George's Protestant Church (Spesutia Church) in Perryman (near Aberdeen), Harford County, MD. After the first of December, the couple will reside in North East where the groom is the cashier at the First National Bank. (The Aegis & Intelligencer, Bel Air, MD, 17 Nov 1905, page 3)
- 1920 US Federal Census for Roanoke, Virginia shows Emily G. Morgan (age 39) and her husband Robert L. Morgan living on Northumberland Avenue. [2]
Emily's husband, Robert L. Morgan,II passed away in April 1931.
- 1940 US Federal Census for Harford County, MD, Emily G. Morgan (age 60, Widowed) was living residence hall on Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG) and working as a Maid at the Officers Club. The residence hall included five other women who worked in the Officers Club. Emily's inferred residence in 1935 had been Roanoke, Virginia. [1]
- Emily B. Morgan passed away in Baltimore City in December 1970. She is buried in the Grove Cemetery in Aberdeen, MD. [2]
